Have you been to Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Assiniboine Park lately? You might notice a recent addition of funky washroom facilities constructed from sea-containers. In May we posted an article featuring the installation of screw piles as a solid foundation for the new washrooms; below are some recent pictures of the finished product.
In many years, when these washrooms have lived their life, the old containers can be easily removed and sold while new containers dropped on the screw pile foundation or the screw piles as well as the washrooms can be completely removed, leaving nothing more than a couple weeks of slightly displaced soil.
